Technical gases: training, events, outreach and consulting SIAD

It was 1927, and while Charles Lindbergh, on board the Spirit of Saint Louis, made the first solo flight over the Atlantic Ocean, in Bergamo, Professor Quirino Sestini deposited the monolithic porous mass patent, a filler for acetylene cylinders that made it possible to transport and store them safely.

Hence the story of the SIAD Group, a story that almost a century later retains the same DNA of Quirino, founder of the Group and first professor at the then Bergamo Industrial Institute., who has always based his work on finding efficient solutions to complex practical problems, partly through the cross-pollination of ideas and the scientific curiosity.

But there is no progress without knowledge sharing.

This is why our Group is wholeheartedly committed to events and projects to educate and spread knowledge about industrial gases, just as Quirino taught us.
