Research and outreach are, moreover, the focus of the SIAD International Enology Award, established with the participation of OICCE, the Interprofessional Organization for the Communication of Knowledge in Oenology, with the aim of stimulating innovation through the use of technical gases in this strategic sector for the Belpaese and obtaining better wines by optimizing production processes.

“Quality improvement of red wines with low environmental impact through the use of technical gases,” proposed by winemaker Gregorio Santini, was the project that won the last edition, the 2022 edition. The 2023 edition is also being launched.
